The MD87C51FA is the EPROM version of the M80C51BH. It is fabricated on Intel CHMOS II-E process. It contains 4 Kbytes of onchip program memory that can be electrically programmed, and can be erased by exposure to ultraviolet light. The MD87C51FA EPROM array uses a modified Quik-Pulse Programming algorithm, by which the entire 4 kbytes array can be programmed in about 12 seconds.
